| If its just new P/C's and you did the mock up, theres still oil inside, same cam and lifters; prime the system and start it. Run 15 min shut down, look for deposits in oil, if none-fill as necessary, drive away. |

rings dry,oil on skirt&pins.dont over heat it,but drive it like you stole it, then change the oil&filter in about 40min to an hour.then back to your normal routine.(just dont be stupid & do more than the motor is capable of doing &blow it, remember it's yours.) or do like jon said.
also some manufacturs say to progressivly run it harder with a load, dont lug it down.from easy driven to final full throttel, and you done execpt for the oil&filter change as all the swarf&mettell from the cylinder walls will just end up in youir bearings. |
