Just had my exhaust valves replaced and heads rebuilt. Discovered that the exhaust valves were totally hammered on the ends. I assume this was from a bad gap. All 4 were bad, intakes were fine.
I put the same rocker assembly back on. How would I know if the valve springs were bad? What would be the sympton if they were weak?
Should I just replace them? I don't have tools for testing spring compressions, is there another way to know if they're ok?
