Well, my torpedo tank is shot, and i am looking to rig up an external propane setup via the barbeque tank, or even the 1 pound tanks.
I am trying to figure out if I need a dual stage regulator, or if I can get away with just a low pressure one. All i am really planning on doing is running the fridge, and no cooking as I use my coleman stove outside of Campervan for that. |

| why do you think the original tank is no good? Those things are heavy plate steel-a coating of rust is nothing. An external BBQ tank is ok but what if you drive away without it? |

| tank has had a patch welded several times in the same spot, and it leaks from there like a screen again, and there is not enough good metal to adequately repair it, and for as much as I "need" to use it, i am not about to pay 350 bucks for a new setup when I can make it work for about 40 dollars in parts. |

| Single stage should be alright, that's what is on most grills. |

Your grill at home lives by different rules! But it's your life! I run mine off 1 LB. bottles and a 2 stage regulator works fine. I do have a TF, so only run gas for the stove! :D |
