They both look great and I'm jealous of your driveway.

Nice score. Very great find. Love the panel. So of I may ask. How does one know if VW bus are gonna be at auction? I am currently looking for my next project and want to make sure I'm leaving no stone unturned.

I want that panel! Nice find, none of those sorts of finds in uk anymore, certainly not where I live as the rust has eaten them all!

That's a nice shot from up high of the fleet.

Yep, everyone is drooling over that panel. To find one in that condition is remarkable. Most were worked to death.

Thanks for posting the photo with the 6 VW'S in the driveway   . I showed it to " grandma Dottie " and told her she should appreciate that i only have 2   8)

Two sweet scores!!! 8)

Thanks guys...the panel is pretty sweet that's for sure. Very, very clean unerneath. I'm gonna order a new German Bus muffler and tailpipe for it so I can put the rear bumper on. At least they didn't cut holes in the OG bumper for this Beetle exhaust.
Spent a little time tonight doing a couple of things to the camper..I wanted that spare tire holder off of the front, but who knows what lurks under it? I pulled the tire off and to my amazement, the nose is in great shape!! Unbolted the mount, took out the inserts and welded the holes shut. Skim coat of filler and I should be good to go. Pretty sure I have the correct white emblem for the front of the Bus too. Spent a little while just sitting in it tonight...I can't wait to camp in this thing! A few pics I snapped tonight...

Excellent work removing that spare tire mount. (The number one thing a bus owner should do!)

I can't wait until that camper has been buffed out.

very cool find!! we came across only parts from a 78 champagne here. the gentleman said the bus itself was long gone.
