it is our seventh anniversary righyt now... just got done eating a crown of artichoke with goat cheese and Nyons Olive Oil, Fricassee of Rabbit and Cabbage and Frivoles (fried dough with powdered sugar) and Pierre Herme Hot Chocolates... but damn, I wanna go camping. Thougfht about Yellowstone and Sun Valley area... is it wrong to go when money is tight and the future uncertain? I am down for driving now... ok, a little buzzed but stick your head out the window and yell: "I AM MAD HELL AND I WANNA GO CAMPING!"
Peace out there in VW land... now go back to sleep!

Yellowstone is quite crowded this time of year, but also quite nice, lush greenery abounds. Given our dry spring I bet ketchum is already parched and dry. Sorry about the job :-/ Time on the road can be good to clear your head.

The day I was laid off (the week before Christmas)., I told my boss I was going to go camping on the beach in Baja. I was down there for three months. Got my head straight! My wife was an angel for letting me go. The great thing was, she told me they called while I was down there and needed me to solve some problems. She told them I wouldn't be back until April.

That was a short gig? Especially considering the distance moved.

Go camping! And while you're out there, be thinking of a way you can make money on your own. You'll never be fired/laid off, you and the boss are like ham-n-cheeze, and you'll never have to work for some jerkoff ever again. :D

Throw in a couple of merrychef ovens and it's all quick!
Go camping. It will be good for you and the wifey. |
