My rear bench doesn't want to go into position and go back far enough to drop behind the crossbar. Any suggestions?

Mine is a pain in the ass as well. I always get it in as far back as possible and then just sit my fat ass on both sides till it pops in. Or sometimes use a pry bar bar to pry it back, being careful not to bend the crossbar

My two have always plopped right in, and tight.

Make sure you have it back as far as it will go - then I kind of beat on the bottom rail of the seat with my palm to get it to drop in. 2 out of my 4 bugs are a pain in the butt......

I put the front of the seat in the "crossbar" first, then push it in from the back - slide against the vertical part of the seat. it's a squeeze but the only way I've found to get it in...
