Hello, fast question I am hoping to get an answer for. I have a 1962 Bug which in the process of moving has gotten its front passenger fender destroyed ( I am sick over this ). I would prefer not to use an aftermarket fender if possible. I have found a 63 bug near me that has the front passenger fender in good shape, would the 63 fender be ok on my 62?
Thank you and I am sorry if this has been asked already! |

Hey,
From what I've seen, I think so. The fenders on a '60, and possibly a '61 are a little more "squat" than the '62...I know this because I have one. But I'm pretty sure that the '62 and '63 are almost the same car with very minor differences. You can always try it and see. I don't think the marker light will be right. |

Thanks!
I was concerned about buying a new one because of the turn signal and the light being slightly off. I will continue to research and find out a little more of the differences between the years body. |
