hey guys,

So I'm changing out my old style spindles for a set of the later model ones for the big brake upgrade.

I pulled apart the old rotor assembly last night and there was no thrust washer on the spindle! is the thrust washer optional?

thanks!

If you are asking about the washer that is between the spindle nut and the outer wheel bearing, it is not optional.

That made me think about the Car Talk guys who said that if you repair your car often enough you will have enough parts left over to build a new car.

That is certain a way to build up an assortment of spare fasteners to replace the ones you are missing.
