X2 And, as if their mere presence wasn't bad enough, they're Tee'd together! After the cheap damping mechanism wore out in 5-15K miles, the shocks' air bags themselves usually hung in there for many more miles, bouncing, tipping & shoving the rearend skyward, thus possibly making cornering at road speed a true test of one's inner emotional strength, sphincter control, or spiritual beliefs.

Could have been worse: could have been on a pre-68 swing axle bus.

The fix: install new (non-air) shocks & tie the air fills into dual reserve tanks for air horns, filling air mattresses, pool toys, etc.

BTW... good lookin' Rivi. Have fun.

Thanks!! Ya we are having a blast in our bus!, drove from San Diego to New York, now we are on our way back. I replaced the fuel filter, the fuel pump, the points, the condenser, rotor, ignition coil, and did the timing. Today I am replacing the exhaust and fixing the EEC valve!! And to think, three weeks ago, I didn't know anything about that rivi!!
