| Ok, im at the stage with my 70 west where its prep time. Im lucky, it has original paint and the only different red was where they replaced the windshield frame, there are a few spots where i had to go to bare steel(because of rust) The rest I want to just sand well with 180, then 2k prime, and block then sand, then prime with normal primer, then block, check, and if needed use more 2k in areas, the take it to a shop for paint, does this sound right? ive heard use 180, then 220, then 320, and on the last stage of primer use 6-800 |
