| Does anybody know the actual internal differences between these carbs ? I believe the pict 2 is set up for emissions and there were differences and i am interested in seeing if i can modify the pict 2 to a pict 1 ,from all i have read pict 2's are difficult at best to get an even progression from ,the way i see it without looking into it yet the only real changes they could make is the size and position of the progression ports and jetting |

| You cannot really convert a PICT-2 into a PICT-1. The internal plumbing is different - you have that extra "metering screw" on the PICT-2 which the factory more-or-less locked into place. |
