You'll probably have a little trouble getting the roof to line up, and it might end up looking a lot like a squareback.

Not to mention that the back hatch may not line up quite right.

| Like Super Skim said, do what you gotta do. I'm currently building a 2 seat Roadster out of a 71 Square. It was hit in the front, and sometime in its life it got rear ended (older apron replacement job by brazing), and rotted out floors. I've already added the "new" front clip, chopped off the roof, added new metal for the floors, and started building the rear filler deck up to the rear deck lid. I hope these words of confidence help. |

I would say no.
It would sort of suck to completely destroy a nice (no rust) Squareback, regardless of year but there are tons of nice '68s out there. I haven't seen that many '67 Notchbacks.
'64-'65 Notches are a dime/dozen. |
