You should tell us where you live and you would be suprised by how many people here know of reputable shops all over the place. Also cost could be a concern. Check the VW mags; lots of advertisers in there (but would check here first before purchasing from any of them). My final comment is on the engine size. I have heard that an 1835 is preferable because the boring process making the engine have larger displacement is better on an 1835 (retains more thickness from the original case).
