I have an '82 westy and the Refrigerator works great running on propane or on the 12V DC but it will not turn on at all when I have it on the 120V setting. I have searched my repair manual for a fuse that might be blown and cant find anything. From the pictures in the manual it looks like the fridge plugs into an outlet under the sink to get power??? (am I wrong about this) And I thought maybe it was the outlet that was bad so I plugged it directly into an extension cord and still no luck. Please let me know anything else that I should try. Thanks for the help in advance.

Did you test the selector switch?

There is a fuse located beside/below the electrical plug-in in the interior. When you plug in outside, the elecrtic goes through the fuse, then the interior power source and then to the box located uner the sink for the fridge. First check that you have power to your drop cord before you plug into the van. If there is power and your fuse is okay, take off the cover outside and make sure the wires are hooked up. I unhooked mine as I have a power inverter giving power in the interior. Anything's possible on a 20 year old car.
