I just acquired a set of EMPI Type 3 dual back up ights, still in the "Lee Eliminators"/EMPI packaging. It says they fit pre '67 Fastback, and are supposed to be either 6 or 12 volt. I was wondering if anyone on here has any idea of what they are worth? I don't need any "they aren't worth diddly, but if you give them to me, I'll be a good guy and pay postage" routines, just curious as to the approximate value, and I figured if anyone would know, you guys/gals would. are these the lights that go on the bumper, and look like regular back ups, with a little "eye brow", or maybe the ones that go on the liscence plate light?

They don't look like back up lights, like a '67 Type 1 would have, they are slim, and angled, and have a wierd L-shaped bracket on each of the lights. I don't really want to take thm out of the package, but I am thinking they on on or under the license plate light housing.

ok, I think I know what you are talking about. I have no clue on the price, this forum is slow, but eventually somebody will know. You could check the type 3 list, but it is somewhat complicated compared to these forums. www.vwtype3.org

Dave, I've never seen a set packaged like the one that you have. Last couple set that were on Ebay/The Samba sold for $80-$125. I'd be more than willing to put them on my Notch so you can see what they look like :D.
