| I am considering buying a 71 bus (1600 dual port) it has factory A/C but is missing the compressor. Where could I get a compressor for it? Could I use a mexican one from a bug? Any thoughts on this. I heard that with the compressor hooked up you lose 10-15 HP. Thanks. |

| I believe that all the "factory" A/C units were dealer installed options, and there were many varieties. If everything else connected with the A/C is still there, you should be able to go to any capable A/C shop and get a modern compressor that draws less HP and uses R-134. |
