Well we are finally getting into the time of year where I may need my heat or defrost, so.......Can someone tell me which control arm between the front seats controls the heat, and which the defrost? Plus do you pull them up for heat, or push them forward? I have a 68 Squareback. This is the first Type III that I have owned. Does the heat and defrost in these work better than it did in my 56 Oval?

Also found out something real interesting today. If the drain holes in the fresh air vents in front of the windshield (outside) plug up, the tray fills full of water and then drains into the interior. Damn my feet were wet when I got home.

Try this link: http://www.type3.org/literature/1969.pdf. Should be all you need to know.

Yes it does! You also get a lot of water when the end of the drain hose cracks and it falls off the bottom of the tray.

But wait, there's more: Water seems to like the inside of T3s!
