I had a gortex jacket like that but turned it when I checked out :)

gotta start somewhere. might as well get some vw wrenching experience on something like this. than you can take what you have learned ( and screwed up) :D and step up to a nice one. i have done this. fixed up one sold it for some profit, bought a lil nicer one, ect....always getting older as i go. i have just caugh word of a barn find. i guy has been storing it for years , it was his bro's who died. he has no idea what year, but is sure its older than 70'''s. i am pumped to see what i can dig up for treasure. i'll post when i find out. i just hope it isnt some super beetle lol! :x

oh yeah, ditch those rims guy. they belong on a baot trailer or something. i think detailed stock ones would look better. imho..... 8) or just about anything else! josh

I could not agree more. Almost anything would be better than those.
