| I'm trying to put together a squareback with an automatic (I know, it sucks) trans and a dual carb motor (stock 32 pdsit). Am looking for what kind of micro switch I need to make the kickdown work, and how to attach it to the carb or linkage. Has anyone done this, or does anyone know where I can find the info/pics? |

| I used an FI AT kick down switch and bracket. I tack welded it to the pivot bracket once I figured out where I wanted it. It worked great for me. It was 4 years later that I even saw the correct Dual carb AT center pivot bracket. Just so you know, you could mount a momentary switch (like a NOS button) up on the shifter if you wanted to, or even leave it off and manually down shift the tranny. I hope this helps. |
