Went today. What an awesome get together. Maybe 150 cars? Got to see a Ferrari Enzo that is driven. Met some great people like Lake Underwood II, John Paterek, Stuart ?(I'm mad I forgot Stuarts last name). Many, many cool cars. -- Update -- Stuart's last name is French.

From L to R. Unknown 911, my car, Lake Underwood II's car, John Paterek's car.

Lake's speedster was his Dad's race car which has been restored.

Probably Stuart Zeh.

I was drooling over a silver Ferrari 250 SWB. I also enjoyed watching the 1908 Cadillac get cranked up and leave. Awesome that it has just one cylinder and a huge flywheel and chain.

Other cars I haven't seen in years: Lancia Stratos, Maserati Quattroporte, Volvo 122S station wagon...and a gaggle of electric cars: Chevy Volt, BMW, Teslas...

Always pleasant surprises at this meet.

Stu Zeh has been invisible of late, so if he was there at the event, that's a good sign. He financed the Paterek Brothers restoration of the old Cabriolet, 5015.
I bought a sunroofed/Rudge wheeled '61 S-90 from Lake Underwood in '66 or '67 (I forget). Nice guy. His son bought the old racer (back) from NJ-er Tim Kuser to be restored for his Dad as a tribute to Lake's Porsche involvement and prominence....and those pictures are the first I've seen since it was finished.
John and Donna's Cab is a nice survivor, but I like brother Ray's V-8 powered Healey better!
The brass era car sets it all off, a nice reminder of automotive beginnings, a good perspective.

It was Stuart French. I corrected my above post.

The 911 in the pics was also cool. A real driver. It was setup like a rally car. Had a fiberglass hood & deck lid, gas filler through the hood. Stripped down to 2200#. Plexiglass vent windows & rear side windows also. One real neat thing was it had a 3 exit rally exhaust. You could cap one off to have two open like stock or open all three.

Ah-ha, should have guessed. I (I guess like Adam)picked the wrong 50% of the 50/50 of guys named Stu who hang around the Paterek's shop.

I am surprised no one just south of the event had no prior knowledge. That's unfortunate, as unless I missed a 356er's mention, there was none.

Got a text today from John Paterek via Lake Underwood that Stuart Zea's car was 5014 not 5015.

Same text said Ray's ride is a Ford anglia with a V8.

I guess Lake & John just found the Samba. Hopefully they will join us.

Yes, my typo, sorry. I did not mean to infer that Stu (Zeh) had John and Ray make it like new(er) by one chassis number.
My last visit to Chatham included viewing the Anglia and the Healey V-8s. Personally I lean toward the Healey, as I went from a '60 Sprite to a Speedster in '65.
