Here's a suggestion - get access to an air compressor with an attachment that allows you to blow air. Fit a 2 foot piece of rubber tubing over the end of it, and snake the tubing down the channel, starting up by where your feet are. Use the compressed air to knock out the rust, dirt, old bodies...you'll need to have removed the heater boxes under the back seat, and if you have hooked up a shop vac to the other end of the channel, it helps keep the mess down to a dull roar.
