Depends on what wheels you run. You can lower it to an extent with the adjust-a-struts and then get sport springs and be cool. You can also lower further and run spacers, but you'll have slight rubbing. But after a point you need the MAXX's. I say get the MAXX's anyway. It all really depends on your wheels. Tell us your wheels, offset and size, and we'll probably be able to help more.

Well, you can't narrow a super beetle front, so don't worry about that. If you go about 1.5" lower than stock, I would think that you would not get any rubbing. I don't know for sure, though. I've never had experience with a lowered car and a stock tire.

With stock wheels and tires, you won't need to space or narrow anything for clearence, so don't think about that. That's my take on this.

my dad had put blocks between the spindle and the balljoint that connects to the control arm i gues because it all had ran out of adjustment. he also said if i lower it or take out the blocks it will be all cambered out. if i either bought the lowering struts or lowering springs with the blocks would it still camber? it should just drop str8 down right? what would i have to do if i wanted to lower it and have no camber?
