i have seen few squarebacks with large rear side windows is this custom or stock, i normally see the two rear side windows.
someone please answer my question

As far as I know it was a 'custom' look in the late 70's... although I do believe there were a few panel squarebacks ( no rear window) produced by VW.

It's a definite custom thing. I've only seen a few.
As for the "panel vans" the only real ones I've seen have thick steel panels welded in place of the window panes. All the aftermarket ones I've seen have flat sides like panel busses. |

| It's custom, There used to be a kit I think. You cut the post and use the lip off the post to fill the post hole. |

These were made in So.Cal in the 80's and sold as a Kit. Hot VW's did a story on the "Picture Window" and showed a step by step installation and how to remove the center post.
I have these available in many different shades of tint, or just clear. They are automotive grade glass cut to order, the seals are new as well Cal Look rubber from West Coast Metric.
If you or any one is interested in these let me know. I have shipped these all over the states even delivered a set to a T3 buddy in Anaheim.
