I broke my clutch pedal, so I bought a new pedal. Today I was installing it and I got my old pedal off and took of the whole pedal assembly. I can't seem to get the clutch cable connected back to the pedals. It's in the tunnel, how do I get it out so I can put the pedals back? I've been trying to use a hanger to pull it out but I can't get a hold of it. Do I have to lift the car and disconnect the clutch under the car? I rather not, my car's Slammed so it's tought to get under it. What can I do to get the cable out and avoid lifting the car? If I HAVE to I will. Thanks in advance.

You already know what you have to do;raise the car and unhook the clutch cable from the linkage arm. There is a wing nut that unscrews from the cable, so you'll need a pair of vice grips to hold the cable while turning the wing nut off. Reassembly is the reverse, except use a bread tie to tie the cable to the clutch pedal hook 1st. I hope this helps.
