| Has anyone heard of *Guy*, his email address of twinjawas@hotmail.com, or his other email address of heathermg@snowcrest.com in Redding, California? He has a small auto body shop and has a 1966 Bug I am very interested in seeing. Apparently this man has restored this Bug to its original and mint condition. Any and all feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! |

| Hey chatty, I have been noticing you have been looking real hard for a 66. I have seen some locally, on the samba classified and in the paper. Stick it out, wait till spring and go to Spring Meet in Puyallup...you will find what you are looking for locally and can check it out and have it checked out. Make sure you have it checked out by a local shop. I dont know where you live, but Bow Wow will do a complete top to bottom ispection for around two bills....worth it to me. www.bowwowseattle.com is the site. |

No story here to be told, just trying to give some helpful advise to a local car shopper. |

Hi and THANKS to those who have offered suggestions! Yes, I was burned by that Seattle seller......but now SHE is the one who has her pants on fire. Bill came in, I filed a claim against the Auto Body Shop and my VISA company has removed the charge from my account. Auto Shop must bill the Seller to receive compensation for the charge.
I just missed the Fair this year. The 1966 Bug I love is in Northern Cal...it's exactly like my first 1966 Bug which I bought in 1968....Sea Foam Blue w/Sunroof. I sill love the Bahama Blue color, but so difficult to find the year I want and my color of preference. I can wait. In the meantime I am driving my MINT but BORING 1994 Honda Accord with only 40,000 miles! |

CCK,
Yeah, wait for what you REALLY want. It will be worth it.
Put down all the details of your dream bug here, maybe someone will come across it somewhere and let you know. Can't hurt to try... |
