Do Notchbacks and squarebacks and hatchbacks all have the same doors and front ends and trim pieces, bumbers, etc??? 1964 specifically, do the Notchbacks of that year have any specialty parts???
Thanks

Type3's from the door foward are the same (notch, square, fast). The trim inside and out depends on when and where and type of trim pakage when sold. So a 67 square trim will look just like a 67 notch.

64 will have different door hinges and front fenders from the later t3's I think (really not sure when the change was) 66 went to the later style.

Other than that the bumpers will fit up to 70. I'm sure someone will add to this.

Other than the obvious body differences, the notch rear fenders are different because they do not have vents like fast and square do.
Everything from the rear of the doors forward is the same. Engine and trans are the same.

The notch rear fenders also have a "dog leg" like kick where it meets the deck lid.

The Notchback upper rear clip is different too, to acount for the different way the truck latch mounts.

the rear seat differs from square to notch also. Also there are differences depending on if you have an S model (deluxe) or an N model (standard).

i think notches have different doors in the fact that they use different hinges.
