| Here we go. I put up wanted ad about some oval parts i needed( i.e. fenders, dash, etc) I get an email from a guy named Chris aka: cbuggmann@aol.com aka:RedFrog99@aol.com. He says he has a bullet fender for sale and i asked him to send me pics because i was interested. He sent pics and they look pretty good and i say fine and pay him through paypal. The fender is 50 bucks plus 20 bucks shipping. Im thinking to myself "this is an awesome deal". Then i look at the pics a little closer(after i payed him) and i notice that in the pics he sent me, he leaned the fender against another vehicle so i didnt notice the turn signal holes on the hump of the fender until i looked real close. I call him up and confront him about it. He like hesitated and he said that someone did that(no shiat) but that it was a correct fender and that it had all of the original welds on it. I told him i didnt want it and if he could please press the refund button on the payment i made to him through paypal. He said that he had to wait for his girlfriend to get home because he didnt know how to use paypal. I said fine. This was on Friday. It is now wed and now refund. I mean its not like im waiting for a part or anything. All he(or his girlfriend) has to do is click the refund button. I emailed him Monday and yesterday about my refund and he has not responded to any of my emails. I called my bank and thay said i had to take care of it with him or the pay service. Dude, pay up man. Its not that hard to do a refund on paypal. Now i check my account and it says that he actually transfered the money. Pissed me off even more cause on friday it only said pending on my bank statement. Guys, I know its only 70 buck but how hard is it to give a guy a refund. If you guys want any pics of the fender or any of our email convos just ask and ill forward the emails to you and the pics cause i dont know how to post pics in here. PAY UP DUDE!!!!!!! |

Yeah - it's definitely buyer beware. HAve you started the complaint process with PayPal?

Get started sooner rather than wait. But since you had the pics, I'm not sure if you will prevail.
Maybe at least he will send the fender. |

| yeah dude, i put in a complaint yesterday through paypal. The pic quality is fine, but the way he leaned the fender on the other vehicle you can barely see the turn signal holes. It just looks like it ould be a chadow or something from the other vehicle. Id really like my money back but if he sends the fender i guess i got what i payed for since he sent me pics. Im not the kind of guy that just puts people on blast like this man, but i hate shady people... |

| It's hard to say if the guy staged the pic or not. But with him not returning your emails, it doesn't say much for him. |

I guess it depends on your bank. I told them that I had an unauthorized charge on my account and I had to provided back up and fill out a form. I used the emails we sent back and forth.
Where does he live? Maybe someone here could help you out.
If your paypal account is a credit card you might be able to go through them as well. |

I tried to post pics before i bought the fender but everytime i tried to put them in the gallery it said they were too big. I think the max is 200 something and the pics were 267. If yall can show me how to do it , ill post them or i can email them to someone and see what you can do about posting then. The guys name is chris. His area code is 402 and google said it was texas. |

| Hey thanks ragman, much appreciated. As you can see, it does seem like he was trying to hide those holes on the hump by the way he positioned it..Shady guy. Hopefully this gets resolved..again thansk for fixing the pics ragman |

I don't know 56. If I'm Judge Judy, I gotta say that hole is pretty evident in the first pic.
Not saying the guy didn't hang ya out, but you gotta be real cautious. |

| I guess, but that doesnt mean he can keep my money especially if he hasnt even shipped the product. Id understand if he had shipped it and i received it...id have to live with the holly fender, but the guy didnt even ship it man. A decent person would just press the damn refund button... |

| I personally think that hole is pretty obvious...ask him to send you the fender anyways and have it repaired. That is still a damn good price, you will still be ahead. |
