greetings all in type 3 land-
so then, can i bolt a type 1 beam on the front end of my 67 squareback pan? i believe it will be narrower, i can get a chromed out one with a lowered beam and shock towers and not riddle with the lowering-? the pan is now seperated from the body and i will be getting a one piece fiberglass front end so there is lots of room up in there.....the disc brakes may be an issue..... |

No.
A quick glance will tell you they are miles apart in how they attach. |

No, this doesn't work unless you do some SERIOUS modifications - welding, etc..
The Type 3 beam can be lowered without putting in a new beam. But not narrowed. |

| type 3's need nothing to lower except a little elbow grease. Its bassically readjusting the lower arms on the splines. |
