Have after market fuse box. The jumper that appears between the number 3 & 4 fuse is not there. Does that thick black line double as a resistor or capacitor? I tried jumping a wire to provide power to the rear tail lights but it fries the fuse. Also, where can I find what the right fuses are on the main panel. Red, White, Blue, ETc.
Thanks,

The thick black line between the fuses is a connector or tie bar, its only purpose is to allow one wire to provide power to both fuses. If the fuse keeps popping when you install a jumper then you need to look for a short. Stock from the factory, all fuses in your '60 should be of the white 8 amp variety. |
