No modifications?
What's that Brosol H30/31 replacement carburator doing in there?
Geez, at least TRY to be accurate in your ad.

I don't think this is a BIG Deal - but if the carb was "modified" then I guess it would be a "modification" \:D/

VWAddict,
The guy says in the ad that this is an original, unmodified bug.
The carb in there is a single port carb with an adaptor plate to fit the dual port intake. Not only a modification, but a BAD modification.
There are at least three OTHER modifications as well.

Other than the carb and the "custom" boot.

Anybody spot them????

missing paper trunk liner, has aftermarket carpeting.
missing rubber impact strips on bumpers.

I may be wrong but I'll bite.

-How about the decklid, I don't know too much about the later years but I thought they put in the 4 lovered decklids in 1972 (then again may be different for convertibles)
-Along with the same lines of the verts, every one I have had, has had a rain catch tray in the decklid, should this one have one or is that an option?
-The rear window should have chrome trim as already pointed out but it should also have chrome along the bows too right?

Finally although the bumper trim is missing, it does appear to have correct bumpers because it has the tow hooks that they started putting on them in 71.

Well even if I'm wrong I still played the game!
