Question: What size is the nut that holds the fly wheel on?
Answer:???
The Story: Got if for under a grand which is kewl. But on the way home the fly wheel seal blew out. :( Any way not a big deal as I shut it off right away and did not damage the motor. Pulled the motor only took me and my friend 30 minutes. :lol: Not bad for my first I don't think. But I don't know what size the bolt is. I am going to order the seal next week and I hope to get some pictures posted soon when I do I will send you guys a link. Anyway really just wanted to say THANK YOU. I finally got my bug and everyone on this forum has been a really big help. |

| The nutsize is 36mm. I would get a 3/4 inch drive socket and breaker bar instead of the 1/2 inch as the same socket is used to remove the drums and you will end up breaking the 1/2 inch breaker bar. |
