Hello!
So I bought a 1972 Beetle that has only a half dollar size hole underneath the battery (of course), which is the only rust problem on the whole thing! But, it's still a problem...
Anyways, I don't have enough time to do a full repair on it before I move down to California so is there a quick, easy (to apply and remove) fix that will last me to get down there? I plan on fully replacing the tray but I have to wait until I make it down, unfortunately.
Thanks! |

Your local Muffler Shop can weld it this morning if you are that worried about a half dollar hole? They will weld in a complete new battery box patch panel in 1/2 day too. |

Put a piece of carpet or plywood in until you have a new battery box to weld in and paint with Master Series silver & black. |
