| I changed everything that has to do with my brakes except my hard lines so I was going at it when I ran into the strangest thing, my hard lines for my brakes are running througfh an electronic fuel pump. Could anyone possibly tell me why this might be? I would of never known except there is no fluid going to the back and I noticed fluid in the back in front of the seat. The connection that was running into the electronic fuel pump was leaking. Any suggestion or comments? :? |

You've GOTTA be looking at the fuel hard line. That, or your Super used to be a space-machine, and you're messing with the Flux Transducer.
be careful! |

| Are you sure it's a pump? Might be a line lock. They look somewhat similar. PO might have been a racer. |

| Wouldn't you want to line-lock the FRONT brakes, though? |

| Might be a line lock that was used as theft prevention, but it can't be a fuel pump. |

| Post a pic. could be a line-lock used as a poor man's emergency brake, in which case you have another set of problems. |

| Well I took out the electronic fuel pump that was connected to my brake lines after I had my wife and father inlaw both verify that is what it was so I could keep my sanity. I put in a coupling and bled the brakes now they work like brand new. If someone can tell me how I will post a picture.[/list] |

Just click on the picture you uploaded to the gallery, paste it in here, highlight it, then click the 'img' tag above.
By the way, I have no idea why someone installed a fuel pump in your brake lines. I would never have believed it. |
