I was wondering. Me and my dad are planning how we are going to do my fastback. He want's to paint it Candy Apple Red and i have no problem with that. But i'm having trouble picking out interior color. Gray or White whic would look better? To me they both would look good but if we did white then i'd have to pick carpet color, Black or Beige? if it was gray id just do black floor. Does anyone have any other ideas???

White would look sweet in it, but would be a bitch to keep clean. I think grey would probably work better, especially if you go with either cloth or velour seat and door panels. I used that in my 65 Notch (charcoal grey velour), and it looks really great (more like a BMW than a VW), and would recommend it to anyone. I'll ask a question though, how is the car going to be used? For show or daily driver summer only? This will help make up your minds, because that really determines how you may want to present it. Its really a personal preference though, and the 2 of you need to decide which way to go on it. For summer only use, nothing beats velour, as it doesn't get hot and sticky like vinyl, but vinyl cleans easier than velour. I hope this helps.

I prefer grey seats and grey (salt & pepper) carpet over white/black.

White is just too shocking. Grey is calming.

I like the look of light grey seat's and had a set in a 65 bug a few years back. Grey goes well with just about any color.
