can some one who has a 73 super beetle project with the engine out, show me some detailed pictures of the wires of the rear compartment that go to the lights. Exclude the engine wires. My rear light assembly is a mess. when i put my high beams on the i see red and yellow. also i need to know how the backing up switch conects to rear lights
Also i nee picture of the behind of light switch with wire connected

The Back up lights start at the coil with a black wire through a inline fuse clipped on the fan shroud then runs through the forward engine tin to the switch on the front of the trans. A wire comes out of the switch and runs back to the eng comp. to a "T" then runs to each light. As far as the other lights go they come out of the body on the Drivers of the eng. comp. Get a nice diagram or get the rear light harness from another Bug.
