No, those are not Barndoor. 55-57 replacements, maybe.
God damn, people love to say reflectors are "Barndoor". They very rarely are. Barndoor reflectors do not have text on the lens. THose aren't even large diamond! |

WOW, that is surprising. Matt Devine who owns the incredibly nice 1952 Barndoor 23 was the winner. Everett is right that they are not Barndoor but are most likely '55-'57 American market replacements. I thought I paid too much when I bought a pair for $80 about 8 years ago...
No need to worry about anyone being pissed, Matt knows his shit like you wouldn't believe. He learned from the likes of Charlie Hamill, Ed Hughes, and Mike Hornbecker. |

hmmm,
Dunno guys - seen a couple of 'late' (54+) barneys
here in Oz with those reflectors. Not sure if original
or replacement though - sample size here is not large
enough to tell either way.
But obviously not only American market. Maybe
Euro thing or restricted market thing where regs
may have required larger reflectors? (Oz and Italy also
had those amber rear indicators lenses 59-61).
????????????????

I don't know about Oz but all Barndoors I have seen with original reflectors always had the big diamond style. This would be European or USA-delivered Buses.
Of course, these things could have varied by marketplace. |
