80's LA, the Cal-Style Newsletter along with GFK and Los Angeles Sheriff Department are coming together in support of the kids of East Los Angeles who will not have much come this Christmas. The event is 100% volunteers and all proceeds go directly to the kids and will be disturbed by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's at their annual Christmas party.

All car clubs - VW's, Low Riders, Trucks, Motorcycles and Hot rods are invited to participate in this worthy event to help a child. We all have been there, so come out, show off your ride and bring an unwrapped gift or donation to the event. We all look forward to seeing everyone and their rides.

Drive in is at 8:00 AM, enter off 1st Street and Mednik Avenue. Any further information will be posted up in this thread.

here's some pics from last year. It was a good turnout and had a good time. Afterward a small group even hit the streets toward DTLA. We'll probly do that again as well...

I was told the city is blocking off 2 streets as well, so there will be plenty of room for everyone. Roll DEEP and have a good time!!! :D

Although I wanted the long distance award the 3000 miles sorta prevented me from going. However the turnout was great. Hopefully this link works to see the pictures.

It was a really good turn out. I wasn't at last years event but was informed this was a bigger turn out. Everyone pretty much hung out the entire day. I say next year's event will be even bigger.

Mad props to Ant Dog, Alex Arredondo, VW kidd, GFK, Sherrif's dept and everyone else who put this event together.
