Please don't do it!
1. VWs without vent window suck in the summer.
2. You have to ruin the doors to install them
3. The 1-piece window scrapers don't seal as well
4. See #2 |

| Yup, most people I know who have done this regret it soon after, then they're out shopping for new doors. Just so you know, the Notch used the 3 bolt door hinges all the way up to 73, and only interchanged with other type3s up to 65. This means once you cut them, trying to find a normal set of doors will be both time consuming and troublesome (let alone as rust free as the set you have?). I know a guy that has a set of them (one pc window doors) that is looking for a set of normal doors for his 65 Notch. He was really regretting doing it within a month after the install, but I don't know if he's found a replacement set yet. Just something to think about. DON"T DO IT!! |

#5 why?
PM Bob and see if hwe can hook you up with the guy that alrady has tham and trade.
#1 crack the vents and the popouts in the rear and you get a nice breeze. I live in NC where it gets a little on the warm and humid side and loved it when I finally found some popout rubber for fasty. |

| my problem with the 2 pc is the fact that the glass is all scratched up, from bad wipers etc. the wing windows are missing latches and im sure finding this stuff is impossible. i would rather have the 1 pc IF they worked well. if not ill just hunt for good glass etc. i also want power windows. just have to scope out the kits. i dont want anything that looks like a@$. |

You can buy power window kits without converting to 1 peice windows.
