I live in east-central Illinois (near Danville) and am wondering where all the other air-cooled VW owners are hiding? I have searched for local clubs, but Indianapolis and Chicago are too far away to join. If there is enough interest within 50 miles of Danville (on both sides of the IL/IN boarder, maybe we can form a new group. If nothing else, at least we could build some contacts within the air-cooled community. I'm talking about the area from Champaign/Urbana to Covington and Charleston/Mattoon to Watseka. Please contact me if you are in this area and might be interested in meeting other V-Dubbers.
