| I'm not familiar with this specific bus, but it's a yellow 1977 which makes it a standard Westfalia. Standard Westfalias had an ice box and sink, but no stove, no electric fridge, no propane, no trashcan/box, no front table, and no dual battery. They did have a Z-bed, cot, top bunk, sink, icebox, swivel passenger seat, and all the cabinets. I actually prefer the ice box over the electric fridge. The engine would have been 2.0 liter fuel injected with solid lifters. All this is assuming it's still original. Good luck. |

| Color isn't a prefect indiciator of features. The vent on the side for the sink but lack of inlet for the faucet with the two fittings gives this westy away as a non-deluxe model. |

| I am somewhat near the bus, about 30 minutes away. if the owner would like to meet me halfway, I will check out the bus for you, and get you any pics you need. I am an early bus person, so Iam not all that familiar with the type4 motor, but I can check that it isnt running hot, has clean oil etc. I can dig around and look for rust, take pics of the undercarrage etcetc. I am out of work right now, so some gas money for my time would be appricaiated, but not required. PM me if you want me to look at it for you. |

Every brochure I have ever read and every bus I have ever seen has consistently indicated the 1976-77 yellow Westfalia is a standard. I have never seen or even heard otherwise. The 1976-77 sage green is the deluxe model for these two years, but the sage green is the standard model for 1978-79. Mexico beige or Dakota beige is the deluxe model for 1978-79. Brown, Brown/white, yellow/white, and white Westfalias appeared as various models (mostly deluxe) from 1976-79, but the yellow, green, and beige busses were very consistent. |
