You need to find the spindles and calipers from a later model T3 to replace the spindles on your T3. Check a junkyard, look on the classifieds here on The Samba, or look in your local classifieds for someone parting out or junking a 1966 or later T3. Don't sweat the rotors, as new ones can be found easily.

Like above said, going with stock type3 parts would be your cheapest option. Try to find a 66 or 67 though, as in 68 VW did a change to both the tie rod ends and the inner wheel bearing. The bearing wouldn't be a problem, but the tie rod end change might require spending more money to replace the tie rods, unless you get them too. What you want is; both left and right spindles, both rotors, and both calipers (if they're still good, otherwise get new ones (rotors and calipers)), and both rear drums and hubs (because they are a 2 piece set up like American cars).

If you do this conversion, you might want to upgrade the master cylinder to the later style (70 to 73) while you're in there, as it has seperate chambers for front and rear brake systems. You'll also need to swap the rear drums to 4 lug type3s, they'll directly interchange, but then you run into a new problem, no brake shoe adjusting holes in the backing plates (5 lug drums have a hole in the drum instead). You can drill some 1/2" holes in your backing plates to correct this though. I hope this helps.
