Hey everyone. I have a vw that I just got and I got it running and let it idle in neutral for about 20 minutes. Now I can't seem to find neutral. On the stick it moves and feels like neutral but I can feel the gears when I push it when it's not running. Is this a throwout bearing??? It was hard to find 1st gear also. Does this appear more than throwout (if that's what it is)????

| Get under your car and check the bushing that connected the shift rod to the transmission. I bet it's loose. |

| That was the first thing I replaced. I thought that would do it. It was very loose but still hasn't made a bit of difference that I can tell ???? |
