My float for my carb has a hole in it and was wondering if this ( http://www.jbugs.com/product/43-4403.html ) float for the 40/44mm would work on my PDSIT's? |

I don't think the weight will be right with that float. Think you need this type:

Your float should have a number stamped in the top this is the weight something like 7.3 gr which are for the PDSIT 32 carbs- Can't recall if the 32-34 floats are the same. This is critical to the carb bowl fuel level.
I have piles of them if yours is the same. PM me I will send you one for free

If you can dry out the float, you can seal it again with this product:

I've used it on a number of hard to vintage Porsche floats with 100% success. It can be found at O'Reillys and several other parts stores. For $3 it's worth a try. . . |
