 ???????Late 60s fenders on a 73 Super??????

Will they fit on a 73 super? I'm not worried about the lights cause I'll buy the right ones if I have to.
I'm getting 4 new fenders from an older lady for $40 tatal price $40.
She told me her husband bought them a while back and they sat in the garage for over 20 yrs.

Nope. Won't fit on the front, but if they're "68 or later, they'll work on the rear, at least thats my understanding. I may be wrong about the rears. Take them all and sell the fronts for extra cash!!!!!!!

Thanks. I decided on getting all. Since the husband passed away she said that she plan on getting rid of everything. Its a shame cause she has a Ghia whats dying in the bushes with no title.

GEt the ghia and do the lost title paperwork at the dmv. It takes a while, but if you got time to fix, you have time to wait for the title. Anyway, with a bill of sale from her you can get it registered while the do a title search.

Or you could go with the salvaged title thing.

In the state of NJ its not that easy(as far as I know). I have an old friend that told me I can have 3 beetles thats sitting in his back yard for $100. BUT as far as getting the title I'm on my own. I wish there was an easy way...

You can go to the DMV and file for a lost title. You have to provide VIN and proof of sale. It takes a very long time because they have to do a search on the VIN through state police and other agencys to see if it was a stolen car. It can take well over a month to get. Same thing with out of state title transfer. I had a cougar that I transfered the title over from NY and took about a month to get a Jersey title. Same thing there they have to do a background check on the vehicle to see if there are any reports of it being stolen. When it's clear they mail you the title.

3 Bug for $100 I would buy them even without the title.

Just got back from the lady's house. She sold the ghia and convertable bug. Theres a bus in the back yard and she said she'll sell me the motor. The problem is the motor is a type 4 with dual carbs. Is it possible to fit that in the bettle?
