| Anyone have any info on how to remove the heater control knob and replace the missing heater control cables in my 62 type 2 transporter.. I have searched everywhere and haven't found any info on this topic. Any help would be appreciated. |

The proper era Bentley Workshop manual will walk you through the procedure step-by-step... I just used one recently to remove my cable, clean it, re-grease it and re-install it again. The whole thing went beautifully!
