Has anyone tried using blueskin extensively on a build for waterproofing? Something like:
-2 or three days in a garage with a dehumidifier
krylon rust primer on pans + tunnel top and bottom, inner fender, wheelhouses + frame heads and stationary axle bits, then krylon to seal it and a layer of blue skin followed by 2 or 3" strips over the seams as added protection?
I'm thinking of this without the blue primer, as I don't know what it does to paint. I imagine the added mass would also help with soundproofing.
what do you guys think? |
