I realize that TV shows these days are heavily laden with use-of-product items, (like cars) that show the sponsors' products in a good light.
But just once I would love to see a series where the hero drives a hopped up VW bug. Sure, there are "slug bugs" in some of the shows, but how about a dual 48 Weber monster that's a 12 second daily driver for the renegade bad-boy homicide cop, who flaunts convention with his unshaven face, rumpled suit, barely concealed hip flask and disdain for his supervisors.
Think: Dirty Harry in a chopped 63 high performance bug. |

| or a fast & furious 7 where the tuner cars gang meets up against an ACVW gang with souped up beetles busses ghias etc... and the vw guys have the offroad faction guys help out in a street war. everett himself could play gang leader. |
