Can anyone tell me what size a late bay's(spec. a '79) frame rail guage is? Im assuming the main rails that are not boxed are 12, but the area i am talking about is the section where the rear torsion tube goes through the main rail. Is this particular area a different size than an early bay's frame? I saw busdaddys old thread on the torsion tube/frame repair and it looked a little different in size. |

What gauge? What ever it is it won't be exactly a U.S. gauge thickness. Because it was metric standard.
Do you have a bus you can measure? |

It's real close to 12 gauge as well, can't recall the exact metric number at the moment. |
