View original topic: Green Illuminated Auxiliary Power Outlet

I am looking to replace the dash lighter with a Green Illuminated Auxiliary Power Outlet. Would like to add the same in a few other places in the van. Really trying to find something similar to the stock look...

I know that I have seen it here before, but a mad search is just not revealing what I am looking for, so I imagine it was buried in a build thread somewhere... anyway...

Ideas? Product reviews?

I am not positive that this illuminates, but it looks close to stock.

I've always been a fan of the Audi Amber, also a direct fit replacement.

I got mine from the VW dealer parts dept. Green illuminated ring, looks like it came with the van, not loose like the original and has a VW part number stamped on it. It was like $15 but that was 6-7 years ago. Same part as they are putting in the Jetta etc.

Better than stock and illuminates. Holds modern power accessories correctly and doesn't short out. Made in germany not china.

Look at them closely, not the same unit.

Brand name Flosser if I recall correctly. Well made. I have a few installed. VC also carries both types: power only outlet is also Flosser (unlighted but will accept the lighted bezel from the illuminated lighter/outlet, I did that in the dash location)
