I am looking to replace the dash lighter with a Green Illuminated Auxiliary Power Outlet. Would like to add the same in a few other places in the van. Really trying to find something similar to the stock look...
I know that I have seen it here before, but a mad search is just not revealing what I am looking for, so I imagine it was buried in a build thread somewhere... anyway...
Ideas? Product reviews? |

I am not positive that this illuminates, but it looks close to stock.

I've always been a fan of the Audi Amber, also a direct fit replacement. |

I got mine from the VW dealer parts dept. Green illuminated ring, looks like it came with the van, not loose like the original and has a VW part number stamped on it. It was like $15 but that was 6-7 years ago. Same part as they are putting in the Jetta etc. |

Better than stock and illuminates. Holds modern power accessories correctly and doesn't short out. Made in germany not china.

Look at them closely, not the same unit. |

Brand name Flosser if I recall correctly. Well made. I have a few installed. VC also carries both types: power only outlet is also Flosser (unlighted but will accept the lighted bezel from the illuminated lighter/outlet, I did that in the dash location) |
