Here's an idea for summer fan use.

remove ash tray, slide fan in, plug into lighter outlet.

In winter, slide fan out, slide ash tray back in.

Wood block is 3/4" thk, 3 3/16" wide, 7" long, to fit snug without screws.

Fan is $12 12v fan from Walmart auto section.

I removed the fan clip (1 screw), screwed the base into the wood block with 3 screws

Looks good and useful. You'll enjoy it in the summer. But don't remove the fan guard and maybe have more than bashed knuckles.
